The video shot in the recovery center at HSS shows my first attempt at getting out of bed after having undergone a form of hip replacement on November 15 2012 known as a Birmingham Hip Resurfacing or (BHR) for short. What you cannot see here is my loving girl friend who spent hours upon hours bed side during my recovery. With a form of grace unequalled; Staci made sure I was comfortable, well fed, and most importantly never alone or scared. I owe her all the thanks I can give. Which is why everything I do now is for her and for us. Thank you for being there, I love you.
